Maryam graduated in 1999 from the University of Detroit Mercy in the United States, with her degree in dental surgery. After graduation she immediately moved to Toronto to start private practice. Thirteen years later, in the summer of 2012, Maryam moved to Victoria with her husband and three young children and is delighted to be in this beautiful city, caring for its friendly residents.  Maryam currently resides with her family in Duncan.
Maryam works as a general dentist here at Village Dental, and has a passion for helping children. When she is not at work, Maryam enjoys spending time in the lush, green nature of the island which recalls her memories of the northern part of her birthplace, Iran.
